Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2010
This year we gave our players the opportunity to nominate their own charities that support breast cancer awareness. We then held special Pink Ribbon ticket games throughout October and all proceeds were divided between the five chosen charities: Macmillan Cancer Support, Walk the Walk, Breast Cancer Care, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Cancer Research UK.
With the help of our dedicated players we were able to donate a total of €3,530.60.
Help For Heroes
On April 23rd 2010, St George's Day, we ran a number of special games where we donated 10% of money staked on tickets to Help For Heroes. In total we were able to raise €330.54. This charity helps wounded UK Servicemen and women and if you wish, you can make your own donation through their website by clicking here.
Breast Cancer Care
For two years running, in 2008 and 2009 we promoted games to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Care. Through new player cash-match donations and special Pink Ribbon games we managed to raise a massive €41,000 in total for Breast Cancer Care. It was only through your amazing support by taking part in the special games that we managed to make such a great donation - thank you to all our players.
